With a keen attention to detail and an ability to view business strategy from a 360-degree perspective, Michael O’Donnell brings valuable insights as the Chief Marketing Officer of Today’s RDH, the leading online platform for dental hygienists. His 25+ years of experience in healthcare B2B marketing and business development provides a solid foundation for the brand’s continued growth.

Responsible for developing integrated marketing programs that engage visitors and drive a strong financial return, Michael’s analytical mindset and ability to understand the data have helped grow Today’s RDH. He works with brands such as Dentsply Sirona, Listerine, and Philips Sonicare on their marketing strategies. He develops creative solutions, driving target audiences to take specific, measurable actions for their education-based campaigns.

In his prior role with UBM’s Life Sciences Division as the director of sales, Michael was successful in managing and executing the company’s first pay-for-performance marketing programs and guiding the company’s transition from print to digital. Servicing the $120 billion dental market, he helped optimize UBM’s use of their digital tools, generating more than 200,000 client leads and increasing the UBM dental email list by more than 30,000 dentists from only 20 campaigns in the first year. From inbound and email marketing to social media and live events, Michael is well-versed in all aspects of full-service digitally integrated marketing programs.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Michael’s mind for creative strategy started during his college years while he was studying business. He started his career in advertising with MedQuest Communications (later Vendome Group), where he honed his expertise within the healthcare space, developing major campaigns for over 100 products. However, his desire to work for himself became stronger, and he eventually partnered with Today’s RDH to help develop and execute their clients’ marketing and media campaigns.

In his free time, Michael enjoys playing golf, rowing, and working on remodeling and construction projects with his father. He is happily married to his wife Pamela and enjoys spending time with their two daughters. He resides in Pleasanton, California.
