Carmen Lanoway, RDH, BScDH, graduated from the University of Manitoba 1988 (Dip DH) and O’Hehir University in 2014 (BScDH). Carmen was part of a working group which published a paper in Quintessence International on biofilm management and the newer air abrasion powders (2013). She has lectured on different topics related to daily clinical working as a Dental Hygienist in Germany and the UK. Most of her clinical work has been based on Periodontal and Implant work, currently employed at the Huerzeler/Zuhr Clinic in Munich, Germany. She was previously a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Manitoba, School of Dental Hygiene, while she was based in Canada. Since graduation, Carmen has been a member in good standing of the MDHA (Manitoba) serving in different positions including President (92), currently a member of the DDHV (Germany), and is currently the IFDH/EDHF delegate for Germany.
