Sylvia Hazel, RDH, EDDA, Heartland Dental
Having started in the field as a dental assistant, Sylvia Hazel fell in love with her job and continued her education to become a registered dental hygienist and an expanded duties assistant. Sylvia joined Heartland Dental in 2014 and with nearly 25 years of experience, she provides excellent care to her patients while also serving as a hygiene mentor to support other hygienists throughout the DSO. Sylvia and her husband have two teenage children and a Shih Tzu, and she enjoys traveling, reading, listening to podcasts, and watching documentaries. Sylvia is an active volunteer in her community and is currently planning a dental mission trip to South America – something that has been a dream of hers for many years.
