Siarra Sens, RDH, BScDH, graduated with her dental hygiene diploma from Camosun College in Victoria, BC, and then received her degree in dental sciences from the University of British Columbia in 2017. She focused her studies on alternative and complementary therapies for oral health and use in biocompatible dentistry, including ozone therapy, meditation techniques, healing with whole foods, and homeopathic remedies among a long list of others. Siarra is a member of a network of holistic health professionals on Vancouver Island. She studied alongside holistic dentists with a focus on healing previous traumatic dental experiences in dental phobic patients and continues the focus with her patients today. Her hobbies include handcrafting organic, herbal products from remineralizing & whitening tooth polish to anti-inflammatory salves. Siarra is an avid traveler. She’s enjoyed volunteering in Mexico as a ‘dentista’ and plans to volunteer in Nepal and India in the near future.
